Holiday® Grapes Chia Jam

Juicy and sweet Holiday grapes are the perfect pair to chia seeds, making for the most flavorful jam recipe that can be used in a multitude of delicious ways. This recipe only requires three ingredients and about 10 minutes. Once finished, you’ll have a sweet, mouth-watering, refined sugar free-Holiday grape jam to enjoy. Perfect to spread over toast, add to a charcuterie board, or layer over ham or turkey – there are so many ways you can enjoy this sweet Holiday grape Jam.

  • 2 cups Holiday grapes (washed and taken off the vine)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds


  1. Puree two cups Holiday grapes in a food processor until the skins are broken and there is a juicy mixture.
  2. Add the Holiday grapes to a medium sized pot and begin to warm on medium high heat over the stove.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of chia seeds along with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup.
  4. Begin to stir mixture until well combined.
  5. Once the mixture starts to warm and boil lower to heat for it to simmer for about 5 minutes, while stirring often.
  6. After 5 minutes, take the mixture off the stove and let cool. (you should have a thick jam like consistency at this point – if you want it thicker add ½ more tablespoon of chia seeds but remember the jam will thicken as it cools.)
  7. Transfer to a mason jar or a dish that seals tight.
  8. Enjoy immediately or store in the fridge for later (up to two weeks in the fridge, or up to three months in the freezer.


The jam will thicken as it cools because the chia seeds continue to absorb more liquid. If you like your jam more juicy and less thick, only use 1 tablespoon of chia seeds for this recipe. If you like your jam to have a super thick consistency then add an extra ½ tablespoon of chia seeds to this recipe.

This recipe is perfectly sweetened thanks to Holiday grapes candy-like flavor. If you like it sweeter you can always add another tablespoon of maple syrup during cooking.

Chia seeds are a wonderful combination with holiday grapes because they soak up the extra, sweet and juicy grape juice to make a thicker jam like consistently. Chia seeds are also high in fiber, omega-3 fatty acid, plant protein, and vitamins and minerals. They are so versatile in recipes, just like Holiday grapes. You can pair them both with so many things but together they bring out the perfect texture and flavor.
